Message	pipes into one if you don't have to. For an NA, I could see it, maybe, giving a better torque curve. But that has yet to be proven. For a couple of years in the mid 90's, Z28's were coming with a single pipe, so there had to be a reason they did it. On a TT, it is a restriction.
